Michael Cole AM (Chairman)

Mr Cole has over 40 years’ experience in investment banking and portfolio management. He has held the following roles over his extensive career: Executive Director and Executive Vice-President of Bankers Trust Australia, Chairman of Challenger Listed Investments Limited, Chairman of IMB Limited, Director of NSW Treasury Corporation, and Chairman of Platinum Asset Management Limited.

Sam Kaplan

Mr Kaplan is managing director of KFM, the investment manager of Ironbark Capital. KFM manages in excess of $1 billion of funds for wholesale clients and was the investment manager of Qube Logistics from its foundation in 2006 until its restructure in 2011.  Mr Kaplan is an experienced board member and is currently the non-executive Deputy Chairman of Qube Holdings Limited, and director of Maritime Super and member of the investment committee of Maritime Super.

Mr Kaplan was one of the founders of Patrick Corporation Limited and was involved in strategic planning with the company.  During his tenure at Patrick Corporation Limited, Mr Kaplan was involved in a number of acquisitions including Pacific National and Virgin Blue.

Ian Hunter

Mr Hunter has over 35 years experience in the finance and investment industry. He has worked at several banks, including JP Morgan, Citigroup and Lloyds Bank and then, as a director and Executive Vice-President of Bankers Trust Australia. He was a founding director of Etrade Australia Limited and has previously been a director of Rubik Financial Limited. Mr Hunter currently also serves as a Non-Executive Director of the listed investment company Platinum Asia Investments Limited.

Jill Brewster (Company Secretary)

Appointed 1 April 2014, Ms Brewster is a Chartered Secretary and has extensive experience in the financial services and investment industry having worked in senior management and advisory roles across corporate, finance and operations. She was formerly Group Finance Manager and Company Secretary at Kaplan Funds Management Pty Limited and a Director in the Not-for-Profit sector.
